Biodegradable degreasing detergent
Product description
Alkaline product used to remove animal, vegetable, or mineral grease. Greasy soil is saponified by the product’s alkaline action, helping release protein-based and plant-origin stains.
Composition / ingredients
Water, sodium hydroxide, trisodium salt of methylglycinediacetic acid.
Physical and chemical characteristics
Appearance: Liquid. Color: Transparent. Odor: Characteristic. pH: 14. Density: 1.20 ± 0.05 g/mL. Solubility: In water.
Dosing
Apply 5 mL per kilogram of garments after dilution. For heavily soiled laundry, combine with detergent at a 1:1 ratio. Avoid direct contact with silk or leather.
Precautions for use
Corrosive to eyes and skin. Handle according to industrial hygiene practices and use PPE.
Protection and handling
Odor-protection mask, safety goggles, and rubber or nitrile gloves.
First aid
Ingestion: do not induce vomiting; drink water. Inhalation: move to a well-ventilated area. Eyes: rinse with plenty of water. Skin: remove contaminated clothing and rinse with water.
